Appointment Scheduling Widget (Kalix). Our Site includes an appointment scheduling widget powered by Kalix, a third-party, HIPAA-compliant Electronic Medical Record (EMR), practice management, and telehealth platform. If you use this widget to book an appointment, the information you enter — which may include your name, contact information, payment information, insurance information, and health-related information — is collected and stored directly by Kalix, not by us. Braxton Balanced Nutrition does not have access to, and is not responsible for, how the Kalix platform itself collects, stores, or secures that data within its own systems. Information submitted through the Kalix widget is governed by Kalix's own privacy policy and, where applicable, the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices we provide to clients separately as part of our care relationship with you. We encourage you to review Kalix's privacy policy directly for details on their data practices.
Information Collected Automatically
Bot Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to help verify that submissions come from real visitors rather than automated bots. Turnstile may collect limited technical information (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to perform this verification. This information is used only for security and spam-prevention purposes.
Domain and Hosting Provider Data. Our Site uses Cloudflare (our domain registrar) and Hosting.com (our web host). These providers may automatically collect standard technical information as part of operating and securing the Site, such as IP addresses, browser type, and general usage data through their own infrastructure-level logging and analytics. We do not directly control the specific data these providers collect, and this information is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Cookies. At this time, Braxton Balanced Nutrition does not use cookies on this Site. If we begin using cookies in the future — for example, to support analytics or improve site functionality — we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and, where required by law, provide appropriate notice or obtain consent.

Future Use of Email Marketing Tools
We may, in the future, use third-party email service providers such as Mailchimp or Mailgun to send communications to clients or contacts who have opted in to receive them. We retain the information collected through our contact form only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for our internal recordkeeping, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our contact form. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
